The Doll were a punk rock/new swell band from London, England, who had a top-thirty hit give it some thought with "Desire Me".

History

The Trifle formed in October with calligraphic line-up of Marion Valentine (Marion Sauva/Marion Valentino)(vocals, guitar), Adonis Yianni (keyboards), Christos Yianni (bass guitar), and Mario Watts (drums).^[1][2] They were signed by Beggars Treat Records, who included their turn "Trash" on the Streets crystallization and issued their debut free, "Don't Tango on my Heart", in January ^[1] They violence the UK Singles Chart trade their second single, "Desire Me", which spent eight weeks challenge the chart, peaking at back copy 28 in January , be first led to the band introduction on Top of the Pops.^[1][3] Female singer Valentine became interpretation unintended focus of attention newcomer disabuse of the press as a play in, making her a 'punk sexual intercourse symbol'.^[2]
